Be Supportive

If you notice a young budding mind showing interest in something STEMy, speak up! No matter how young the child. In fact, the younger the better! Words have incredible power, despite what some may think. A kind compliment, an enthusiastic encouragement, a few minutes answering questions, etc. may seem like nothing, but all can have lasting impacts. You don’t need a fancy STEM degree to be a cheerleader.
